The fixtures vs. Notts County FC on 30th of July has been postponed. Notts County contacted the club and stated that they have suffered a number of injuries during a recent friendly and would be unable to bring a 1st team squad. Both clubs have agreed to replay the fixture in September, the precise date will be released shortly.
Hero Returns to Eagle Valley
Arnold Town FC’s Sam Langsdale made a surprise visit to Eagle Valley to watch the Academy’s match against Notts County FC. Sam and his family received a warm round of applause from an appreciative crowd on the night. The match was Sam’s first destination after being released from hospital for a few days. Sam was seriously injured during his first posting for the army in Afghanistan and only recently was moved from an intensive care unit in Birmingham.
All of Arnold Town FC would like to wish Sam a full and speedy recovery and hope to welcome him back to the club soon. A full story of Sam’s return to Eagle Valley will feature in Eagle Eye programme when the Eagles entertain Notts Counties 1st team on the 30th July.
In the mean time support the Help for Heroes campaign in Sainsbury’s in Arnold this Friday & Saturday as they host the Scalextric Challenge in aid of our injured heroes.

Eagle Valley the home of Arnold Town FC
The new Eagle Valley complex includes a floodlit main pitch with associated spectator accommodation for 3,000 people, eight further grass pitches and a main building including changing rooms, a medical room, officials changing room, a social area to accommodate approximately 150 people.
